We are looking for study participants for a new drug study on kidney disease

This study will determine whether a new drug, which is under development, can have an effect on reducing the leakage of egg white/protein into the urine and thus help delay chronic kidney disease.

NOTE: The study only takes place in Stockholm.

In order to participate, you must fulfill the following points:

  • You are over 18 years old
  • You are leaking egg white/protein in your urine
  • You take medication for high blood pressure

The study drug to be evaluated is given in tablet form. The participation lasts for about 23 weeks and involves 8 clinic visits. Your participation is voluntary and your visits are free of charge.

The study is approved by the Medical Products Agency and the Ethics Review Authority. The doctor in charge is Peter Bosson at ProbarE in Stockholm.
