By allowing your child to participate in this clinical trial on migraine, you can help us find out whether an investigational medicine called rimegepant, taken as an orally disintegrating tablet, can be used to treat migraine pain and relieve symptoms in children and adolescents.
Participants in this trial will receive care from a team of dedicated healthcare professionals during the study and will contribute to advancing medical research for children and adolescents affected by migraine attacks.
For this clinical trial, children and adolescents aged [6 to 18] years are being enrolled who:
- have experienced migraine attacks for at least six months (examples of migraine symptoms include throbbing headache, often with sensitivity to physical activity, light, sound, or smells)
- typically have 1 to 8 moderate to severe migraine attacks per month
- experience migraine attacks that last more than approximately three hours when untreated
Participation lasts up to 19 weeks. Participants may continue taking preventive migraine medications if they have been on a stable dose for at least 12 weeks.
